Founded by two guys who are obsessed about helmet design as we are, one of the leading helmet designers, ‘Antman’ from Antman Helmet Design and international race driver George Richardson from the UK. Antman Helmet Design is located on the Gold Coast, Australia and is known as being one of the world's leading and innovative helmet artists. From the beginning we were 100% sure that these guys love what they’re doing. Designing and developing unique helmet accessories that can be added to helmet designs to make a difference. Helmet designer Paul Seliger from Five Star Designs
Helmdesign - Made in Germany
Man first hour. Paul Seliger has never done something else in his career than creating helmet designs for the best motorsport athletes from various race series around the world and to lacquer each design with all his passion and excellent handcrafting skills. In contrast to many other helmet designers who slowly made their passion for helmet design to a job, Paul was clear that he wanted to work as a helmet designer. This was the only option for him when he started his professional life. That’s why he has chosen to go for an apprenticeship as a lacquer. After 5 intensive years, many experiences and hundreds of helmet designs working for a German helmet designer, Paul and his girlfriend Stefanie Ballé made their dream come true when they’ve founded Five Star Designs.
After almost 2 years of groundwork Five Star Designs has become a solid company, that represents fresh, bold design work and 100% quality in every single lacquering. Especially within the karting community, the people appreciate this new direction and the expressive, remarkable design language.
For that reason we’re proud and happy that, together with Paul and his team, we’ve developed and brought to life our first helmade x 5Star motorsports design line for the launch of helmade in January 2016. We’ve worked very closely to bring together the values of helmade and Five Star Designs and to expose them in our designs.
helmade stands for simplicity and straightforward thinking. Attitudes that help to succeed, especially in motorsports. helmade supports ADAC Formula 4 pilot Jannes Fittje
New helmet design for 2016 race season
‚Welcome to the helmade family, Jannes!' We are delighted that we could win Jannes Fittje, one of the talents of German motorsports, and officially support him in his 2016 ADAC Formula 4 season. Therefore Jannes has created his Arai GP-6S on www.helmade.com in his individual design right before the season opening race in Oschersleben. He has chosen a helmade x 5Star Style. This design out of our motorsports design line, developed together with Paul Seliger from Five Star Designs, represents the individual style that each young racer has to discover and constantly to define further. A helmet design is an important way to show who you are and an honest look into the personality of each racer.
For his new design Jannes stayed true to his colors. Beside anthracite and Maranello red, Jannes has picked a bright neon red that stands for something new. During first talks with Jannes it clearly came out that he is someone who appreciates and builds on things which are proven to work-out but he is also someone who constantly jumps into new themes. That’s why Jannes is a driver who consciously and intensively engages with the technology of his car. He want to understand all details. The line color stone grey and the matte finish represents his straightforward thinking and coolness, two attitudes which brought the young driver many good results last race season.
Jannes about helmade: ‚My helmet design is very important to me. It’s the face of a driver in the car. With helmade it was possible to easily create my design on my smartphone. An entirely new experience to me. What I love about their concept is the simplicity and their straightforward designs. It matches to where I’m going as a driver and I’m really happy about the support.‘
During Jannes’ opening race of the season in Oschersleben his new helmade design was officially handed over to him.
New round this year. After a successful and promising start of the season in Oschersleben where Jannes finished on podium first time, we wish him a great season 2016 …in helmade style!

We are very proud to announce that helmade has secured a long-term partnership with the Formula 2, Formula 3 and Formula 4 team PHM Racing. Out of the discussions with PHM founder Paul H. Müller came the idea to provide the drivers with an individual outfit for the race track. With a unique and personal design of the helmets and racing suits, the drivers should stand out from their competitors. helmade becomes supporter of the ADAC Kart Masters
We are very pleased to announce that helmade is supporting the ADAC Kart Masters this season. Since 2008, the ADAC e.V. has announced the ADAC Kart Masters as the highest award in licensed ADAC karting, which is held nationwide at five events on Germany's top kart tracks. For years, the ADAC Kart Masters has been the national kart series with the largest number of participants. Currently, the Mini, X30 Senior, X30 Junior, KZ2 Masters and KZ2 classes are being held.

helmade NOIR - Helmet design start-up with own bike at Glemseck 101
At this year’s motorcycle festival in Leonberg near Stuttgart the young German company from Frankfurt will show-up at the 1/8 mile starting line with a very special concept for a bike and helmet design. Over the last months a dark design concept in bold neon noir style was born: helmade NOIR.

helmade at IKA International Kart Exhibition 2017
At the IKA Kart 2000, the world´s biggest kart exhibition, we will present to you all our news including brand new helmet designs, individual helmet design options, our new helmet design partnership with MK Art Productions from Barcelona, new motorsports helmets and accessories from different helmet brands as well as helmet designs from our drivers and customers. On the 28th and 29th of January the international karting community is meeting for the 25th International Kart Exhibition and of course helmade will be part of it.
